A Manufacturing Company Produces Around 20,000 Pairs of Shoes Daily in Heat province.
Haji Hadi Fiazi, head of Anguri Shoe Manufacturing and Industrial Company, says that this factory, using modern technology and equipment, produces 20,000 pairs of various types of shoes daily.
According to him, these shoes are distributed to 34 provinces across the country and are offered in accordance with desirable quality standards.
He added that 370 migrant workers are employed in this factory, who, by producing domestic shoes, not only earn an income but also contribute to the growth of the country’s industry.
Meanwhile, Abdul Naser Amin, head of the Herat Chamber of Industries and Mines, says that more than ten shoe manufacturing companies operate in Herat, supplying a significant portion of the domestic market’s needs. He added that within a year, Herat will become self-sufficient in shoe production.
Industry experts believe that with greater support from the government and investors, shoe manufacturers will not only meet the country’s internal needs but could also transform Afghanistan into one of the region’s shoe exporters in the future.
