Two development projects worth nearly 7 million Afghanis have been launched in Takhta Arabiya village of Sayyadabad District, Sar-e-Pul Province.
According to the Sar-e-Pul Rural Rehabilitation and Development Directorate, the projects, funded through the ministry’s development budget at a cost of 6.888 million Afghanis, include the construction of an 18-meter steel-reinforced concrete bridge and the graveling of a 414-meter road.
Local officials said that upon completion, the projects will facilitate transportation between the surrounding villages of Sayyadabad District, Sar-e-Pul city, and Sayyad District, while improving local residents’ access to service centers.
Meanwhile, residents of the areas welcomed the launch of the projects and called for similar projects to be implemented in the future.
