Herat Municipality officials say that a three-storey administrative building for the city’s third district has been constructed and put into operation at a cost of approximately 6 million Afghanis.
Moreover, the building was inaugurated by Herat Mayor Mawlawi Hamdullah Numan, attended by the Director of Technical and Professional Affairs of the Municipality, Engineer Mohammad Ayoub Saif-ul-Jihad, local elders, neighborhood representatives, officials of development councils, and several residents.
Mawlavi Hamdullah Numan, Herat Mayor, told Bakhtar News Agency that the administrative building of the city’s third district has been constructed with funding from the Herat Municipality budget, at a cost of approximately 6 million Afghanis.
He added that, in order to further expand urban services and ensure a prompt response to public needs, similar projects will continue to be implemented.
It is noteworthy that construction of this building commenced approximately seven months ago.
