The Head of Afghanistan’s Standards and Quality Authority (ASQA) met with representatives of Turkmenistan’s State Standards and Norms Authority in Ashgabat to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation and strengthening professional ties.
According to a statement from the Standards and Quality Authority press office, the two sides held talks on standards, quality improvement, technical cooperation, and the exchange of expertise. Both sides emphasized the need to broaden joint cooperation and deepen professional ties.
The statement added that the Standards and Quality Authority is working to develop relations with counterpart institutions at regional and international levels to improve standards implementation, build capacity, and enhance the exchange of technical expertise.
Officials described the meeting as an important step toward expanding technical cooperation between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
