OCHA Allocates $35 Million for Emergency Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has announced that it has allocated US$35 million through the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund to support emergency humanitarian programs in the country. According to OCHA, the funding will be directed toward programs aimed at meeting the urgent, life-saving needs of the Afghan people. The agency added that the assistance will be delivered through partner organizations to the most vulnerable and needy communities.
