Mawlavi Mohammad Shafiq Khatib, Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Kuwait, met with Dr. Matar Al Neyadi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kuwait.
According to a statement issued by the Afghan Embassy in Kuwait, Mawlavi Khatib briefed his counterpart on Afghanistan’s current security situation, nationwide stability, and economic and development opportunities.
Dr. Matar Al Neyadi expressed hope for further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between Afghanistan and the UAE.
The two sides highlighted the friendly relations between the two countries and appreciated the UAE’s support for major educational, health, and academic infrastructure projects, while discussing their significance and impact.
