Afghanistan Begins Importing Standard Electricity Equipment from China

The General Directorate of State-Owned Companies has announced that the process of importing standard electricity equipment from China to Afghanistan will begin.

According to the directorate, following the technical assessment of electricity equipment manufacturing factories in China and the signing of contracts with several manufacturers, production and shipment of the equipment have begun.

Based on the information provided, in the first phase, around 27 containers of electricity distribution network equipment and related accessories for electrical insulation systems will be transported to Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the equipment will be imported into the country based on Afghanistan’s domestic needs under an agreement signed between Afghan Kart, Breshna, and the General Directorate of State-Owned Companies.
