In a continued effort to support humanitarian aid and health cooperation, India has delivered 131 cartons of the “Td” vaccine to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health.
According to the Ministry’s reports, each carton contains 768 doses of the vaccine. This initiative aims to enhance preventive vaccination efforts and improve overall health services in the country.
The “Td” vaccine, which protects against diphtheria and tetanus, consists of vials containing 10 doses each. The production date for this batch is August 2025, with an expiration date set for July 2028.
This donation follows India’s prior contribution of approximately 9.5 tons of anti-cancer drugs to Afghanistan just weeks earlier.
