A total of 3,835 carats of emeralds extracted from the mines of Panjshir have been sold.
The transaction, amounting to $90,110, was conducted with national traders and witnessed by members of the committee responsible for overseeing mining activities in the region.
The announcement was made by the spokesman for the governor of Panjshir, as reported by the Bakhtar News Agency.
