The prominent parliamentarian Ramazan Bashardost accuses his colleagues of being killer of the nation.
Speaking at Saturday’s plenary session of Wolesi Jirga, Bashar Dost said that members of parliament should be blamed for the current stalemate in the country.
“You paved the way for Ashraf Ghani, the president, and Abdullah, chief executive officer, to enter into Arg, the presidential palace, and because of this the situation worsened to this extent,” the MP claimed.
Challenging his fellow MPs, Bashardost said you guys were celebrating the formation of the National Unity Government by the hand of the former American Secretary of State John Kerry.
“You have got the blood of the nation on your hands and you will be held accountable,” the MP said.
This comes as recently published figures show that at least 150,000 Afghans killed and 200,000 wounded during the so-called war on terror in last 17 years.
