The Ministry of Justice announced Sunday that two political parties and 75 civic groups were introduced to the security institutions in the past year for operating illegally.
The ministry said in a statement that in 1402, it monitored and assessed the activities of hundreds of social institutions across the country.
As a result, the offices of two political parties and 75 societies including banned social institutions and charities operating illegally and without a license, were closed and their officials were introduced to security institutions.
The statement did not mention the names of the political parties and societies.
This comes after the Ministry of Justice banned political parties.
