The Afghan security forces arrested a notorious crime kingpin Abdul Hamid alias Khurasani in Kabul.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said the security forces arrested Khurasani in Kabul city earlier on Tuesday.
The statement further added that the Special Forces of Police arrested Khurasani as he was attempting to spark violence during a demonstration in Kabul city.
Meanwhile, the ministry of interior said Khurasani was involved in major criminal activities including extortions, kidnappings, murder and banditry.
The ministry interior had included the name of Khurasani in the list of the most wanted criminals.
He has also clashed with the police forces on numerous occasions, the ministry of interior added.
