Panjshir to Establish Mulberry Orchard on 25 Acres of Land

The Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock of Panjshir province is establishing a mulberry orchard on 25 acres of land in the center of the province.

Qari Fazlullah Deoband, the head of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock in Panjshir, told  Bakhtar News Agency reporter that to improve the economic situation of farmers and create job opportunities, this department, with financial support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, is establishing a mulberry orchard on 25 jeribs of land in Bazarak district.

He added that 2,025 mulberry saplings have been distributed to farmers for the establishment of this orchard.

He emphasized that such projects not only help strengthen the local economy but also have a positive impact on environmental conservation and sustainable development.
