The Panjshir Directorate of Industry and Commerce has reported generating over 360 million Afghanis (AFN) in revenue from regional exports during the current solar year.
Mawlavi Aminul Haq Mathori, the director of the provincial Industry and Commerce Department, told Bakhtar News Agency that total revenue amounted to 360,021,242 AFN, generated from the export of 8,800 metric tons of cherries, 566,498 carats of emeralds, 21,380 liters of dairy products, and 28,955 kilograms of medicinal herbs. These funds have been transferred to the national treasury.
He noted that Panjshir’s export volume has seen a significant increase since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, creating new opportunities for economic growth and investment in the province.
