Mawlawi Attaullah Omari, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, led a high-ranking delegation to Uzbekistan with the aim of strengthening regional cooperation and addressing key agricultural issues.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock announced that the primary focus of this visit is to assess climate change and its impact on water resources in the Amu Darya River Basin.
During the visit, the Afghanistan delegation is set to meet with officials from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Energy and Water. Discussions will center on common areas of cooperation, sharing technical expertise, and planning future joint projects.
