The Afghan security forces have arrested Commander Alipur alias aka commander Shamsher who is accused of leading a group of irresponsible armed individuals.
Commander Alipur has reportedly been arrested by the Afghan intelligence forces from the vicinity of the 13th police district of the city.
Eyewitnesses are saying that Commander Alipur was detained by the National Directorate of Security forces from Qala Qazi area of the city Sunday morning.
Commander Alipur is also accused of harassing the passengers on highways in central parts of the country and leading irresponsible armed individuals.
The Afghan security officials have not commented regarding the arrest of commander Alipur so far.
Some of his supporters stage demonstration after the arrest and called on the government to release him.
