A clash has been ongoing near Andar district in Ghazni province since Tuesday night, a security source reported on Wednesday, saying a group of attackers assaulted a security base.
The clashes started about 12:00 am last night, the source said.
“First a car bomb detonated close to the base and then a number of attackers started fighting with security forces,” according to the source, adding there are “no reports of casualties yet.”
Local security officials have not yet commented on the fighting.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
