Four Afghan Army Forces Killed in Taliban’s Attack in Kunduz

At least four National Army Forces were killed and two more were wounded in Taliban’s attack in Kunduz province, local officials said.

The spokesman of Kunduz governor, Esmatullah Muradi told Reporterly that the Taliban militants stormed the Ostaming village of Imam Saheb district on Saturday night.

According to Muradi, the Taliban group has also suffered casualties in the clashes and security forces seized a large number of arms and weapons.

However, unidentified gunmen killed a prosecutor in Herat province on Sunday morning, officials said.

The spokesman of Herat Attorney General Office, Sayed Naeem Sahab said the prosecutor named Abdul Wasi was assassinated in Babaji area of Herat city when he was on his way to work.

This comes as at least 13 people have been assassinated by gunmen in the city of Herat over the past month, raising concerns among Herat residents.
