Delegation of Uzbek religious scholars arrive in Kabul

The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs (MoHRA) says a delegation of religious scholars from Uzbekistan arrived in Kabul on Wednesday at the official invitation of Noor Mohammad Saqib, the acting minister.

The ministry said in a statement that the delegation will discuss strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation with the authorities of the Islamic Emirate in separate meetings.

The statement added that the delegation will also discuss cooperation and exchange of experiences in the affairs of mosques and madrassas to improve religious issues and Islamic education and develop relations between scholars of the two countries.

The delegation will also visit historical and well known landmarks in Afghanistan.
