In quest of creating regional consensus on peace, Presidential envoy Mohammad Omar Daudzai on Sunday left Kabul for Germany.
Heading a high-level delegation, Daudzai, who is also High Peace Council secretary, would discuss the Afghan peace process with German officials during his trip.
HPC spokesman Javed Ghafoor said that the special envoy would also travel to India after meeting German officials. The trip comes amid efforts for creating regional and international consensus on peace in Afghanistan.
To drum up regional support for stability in the war-torn country, US Special Envoy for Afghan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad also traveled to several counties recently.
