China on Thursday handed over the first batch of Covid-19 prevention materials to the Afghan government, vowing continued help to Kabul within Beijing’s capacity.
Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Wang Yu on Thursday tweeted that the materials were handed over to First Vice President Sarwar Danish.
“China is a traditional friend of Afghanistan. China was the first to suffer Corona. They overcame the difficulties and now they help the global community. Thank you China.” I’m happy second vice president .SarwarDanish likes the words I picked.”
He added, “I bring the greetings from the Chinese government and people to our Afghan friends: Please rest assured that China will always join hands with the Afghan people to fight the epidemic, and continue to provide help within our capacity.”
