Black listed Sarajudin Haqqani appears for first time

Leader of Haqqani network and acting Minister of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Sarajudin Haqqani appeared to media for the first time during a graduation ceremony of police in Kabul on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Sarajudin Haqqani is still wanted by the FBI accused him of terror attacks.

Though he had meetings with foreign diplomats and local officials across Afghanistan, his photo did not appear on media and his face was shown blurred.

Chief spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Zabiullah Mujahid said that his photo can be made public now.

In the graduation ceremony, 377 police officers-males and females- were given documents after completion of their bachelor’s degree.

Meanwhile, national police were also given uniforms for the first time.

Earlier, people would complain about the Taliban affiliates wandering around the cities without donning a specific uniform. Terror groups and thieves robbed people and houses impersonating the Taliban.
