Officials from the Baghlan Breshna Sherkat have reported that the department has collected over 671 million Afghanis in revenue during the first nine months of the current 1403 solar year.
The department’s spokesperson, Ramin Khurram, told Bakhtar News Agency that in the past nine months of 1403, the department collected 671,359,021 Afghanis from electricity fees and deposited the funds into the government treasury.
Khurram added that the department is working to provide the necessary facilities for the people of Balkh in the electricity sector in order to generate broader revenue from this area.
Meanwhile, residents of Baghlan have called on the department to collect revenue from people regularly and to provide additional facilities in the electricity sector for the population.
