Participants in the 27th autumn exhibition of agriculture products expressed frustration over lack of sufficient markets for their products.

They called on the Islamic Emirate to facilitate markets for their products at the national and international level.

“We hope that next time, when such exhibits are being held, the participants who come from the provinces will not be asked to pay for the rent of their exhibits,” said Naseema, a participant.

“They must improve it. They must pay attention to the marketing and encourage the people,” a participant said.

The visitors of the exhibition urged the Islamic Emirate to support domestic products.

“Any government that comes into power should support the private sector, whether they are small or big private sector organizations,” said Obaidullah Karimi, a visitor.

The Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock (ACAL) called holding such exhibitions important for supporting domestic products.

“We should hold such friendly exhibitions in the neighboring countries and capital, so we can market our products and encourage the private sector and our traders,” said Mirwais Hajizada, deputy head of ACAL.

According to number of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, exhibitions of domestic products will be held in China and the UAE.
