MoU Signed to Treat Heart Perforation Patients in the Country

The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) has entered into a significant agreement with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to fund the treatment of 30 patients suffering from heart perforations.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, head of the ARCS, and Dr. Mohammad Saeed Al-Ayash, the OIC representative in Afghanistan.

During a meeting, Sheikh Delawar expressed appreciation towards the OIC for its ongoing support and emphasized the importance of extending treatment to more children in need. He called for continued partnership to enhance healthcare services for vulnerable populations.

Dr. Al-Ayash and his delegation acknowledged the vital role of the Afghan Red Crescent Society in providing essential services and pledged ongoing support for the charity’s initiatives.
