Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), and Ms. Shireen Hassan, representative of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) valued at $11.4 million.
During the signing ceremony, Mullah Nooruddin Turabi expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, emphasizing the need for continued support to the Afghan needy.
Ms. Hassan echoed Turabi’s sentiments, underscoring the critical role of collaboration between international organizations and the National Disaster Management Department in addressing the urgent needs of Afghans.
The funds from this MoU will directly benefit needy families in various provinces, including Kabul, Bamiyan, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Helmand, Herat, Badghis, Kunduz, Nangarhar, and Laghman.
