One civilian was killed and another was wounded in two separate roadside bomb blasts in the city of Jalalabad in Nangarhar province on Sunday morning, police said.
The first blast happened close to the Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in Jalalabad’s district 1 in which a municipality worker was killed, police said.
The second blast occurred in Chawke-e-Talashi area in the city’s district 1 in which a civilian was wounded, according to officials.
No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
