Explosion and gunbattle were reported near Marshal Fahim military academy close to Qanbar roundabout in the southwest of Kabul.
The explosion happened about 7:00am local time close to the academy while the employees and cadets were entering, eyewitness said.
Nikzad said that a bus station is also close the to scene, adding that ambulances were observed going to the attack area.
Kabul police have confirmed that the explosion has caused casualties, but there is no exact information yet.
