Jalalabad bomb blast leaves 4 civilians wounded

At least four civilians were wounded as result of a roadside bombing in Jalalabad city, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, an official said.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened when a roadside bomb hit a police vehicle in Megaznizam area on the outskirt of 4thpolice district at around 1:00am this morning.

He said four civilians were wounded in the early morning explosion.

There was no immediate claimed of responsibility for the blast.
