The Badakhshan Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has initiated the implementation of twelve development projects in the Yaftal-e-Payin District.
Mullah Amanullah Chira, the head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Badakhshan, informed a Bakhtar News Agency reporter that the projects encompass the construction of retaining walls, agricultural irrigation canals, water diversion weirs, bridges, and culverts.
These initiatives are being executed at a total cost of 25 million Afghanis, funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with the Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, targeting various areas within Yaftal-e-Payin District.
Expressing appreciation to the donors and relevant departments, Mullah Amanullah Chira highlighted the implementation of these projects as a vital necessity for the district’s residents. He noted that the inauguration and execution of such essential projects across Badakhshan stem from the peace, stability, and the Islamic Emirate government’s commitment to infrastructure development.
He further emphasized the importance of strict and ongoing monitoring throughout the project implementation process, calling on everyone to collaborate for the prosperity and progress of the country.
Meanwhile, residents of Yaftal-e-Payin District commended the leadership of the Islamic Emirate for rolling out these development programs. They expressed their commitment to support the Islamic system and urged for the execution of additional development initiatives.
