The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum said that work on the major regional TAPI project is progressing rapidly inside Afghanistan, and the level of practical implementation has increased.
According to the ministry spokesperson, Homayoun Afghan, Minister Hedayatullah Badri visited the Turkmenbashi port during his trip, where he closely reviewed the transportation of pipes and technical equipment related to the TAPI project, as well as construction work in the Herat section.
According to the ministry, around 63 kilometers of pipeline have so far been laid inside Afghanistan, while 125 kilometers of the remaining route has been cleared and prepared for construction.
