Poland: Over 20 Afghans and Pakistanis detained for attempting illegal entry

Polish border guards say they have detained more than 20 Afghans and Pakistanis for attempting to enter the country illegally. The group tried to cross the Poland–Belarus border unlawfully but was arrested at border checkpoints. Earlier, Polish authorities also reported detaining Afghan migrants attempting illegal crossings. Some time ago, eight more illegal migrants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Pakistan were also detained while attempting to pass through Poland to reach Germany.
