Over 790,000 Tons of Goods Transported via Afghanistan’s Railways

                                                                                                  The Afghanistan Railway Authority has announced that a total of 790,741 tons of goods were transported through the country’s railway network during Sunbula month of the current year.

According to the authority, the transported goods included petroleum products, non-petroleum goods, and other commercial commodities, which were transported through the Hairatan, Aqina, and Torghundi ports, as well as along the Khaf–Herat railway route.

The transportation included both imports and exports, with a significant portion of the country’s required goods imported through the railway network, while export products were transported to foreign markets.

Meanwhile, 3,744 tons of export goods, including carbonated beverages, raisins, and mineral stones, were transported through the country’s railway network during Sunbula month.
