From 12 to 18 Jadi of the current year, a total of 157,999 metric tons of goods were transported through the railway lines of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Works.
The Press Office of the Ministry of Public Works announced today that during this period, the breakdown of transport is as follows: Hairatan Port 106,984 tons, Aqeena Port, 7,780 tons, Torghundi Port, 18,981 tons, Khaf–Herat railway line, 24,254 tons.
The transported goods included petroleum products, non-petroleum goods, and other materials, facilitating both imports and exports. Notably, 126 tons of commercial goods, primarily dried fruits, were exported during this week.
In comparison, 170,626 metric tons of goods were transported via railway two weeks back.
