From 29 Hoot 1404 AH to 6 Hamal 1405 AH, a total of 151,750 metric tons of goods were transported through the railway lines managed by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Works.
The Ministry’s press office announced that the transported goods included petroleum products, non-petroleum items, and other materials. These imports entered the country via the Hairatan, Aqeena, Turghundi, and Khaf–Herat rail ports.
Additionally, exports accounted for a portion of the total volume, comprising 63 metric tons of commercial goods. A significant share of these exports consisted of dried fruit.
