On the occasion of the 12th anniversary of its publishing activities, Aksos Publishing House inaugurated a new modern and standardized library building in Kabul city. This step is considered an important development in the cultural and academic sphere of the country.

Officials of the publishing house said during the opening ceremony that this library is not only a well-organized and modern space for book sales, but its main goal is to promote a culture of reading and bring the younger generation closer to books. They added that on the opening day, hundreds of book lovers, students, writers, and cultural figures visited the library and purchased books from various sections.
They also stated that the library contains hundreds of titles across different fields, including literature, history, social sciences, economics, politics, and religious studies, all systematically arranged so that readers can easily find the books they need.

Some of the book buyers praised the initiative, saying that this is the first time such an organized, modern, and standardized book-selling center has been established in the private sector. According to them, in the past it was difficult to find books, as they were scattered in different places, but now they can access their desired books in one organized environment.
Another participant said: “Such places can help bring young people away from unproductive social media activities and encourage them to read. This is a very important step that other institutions should also consider.”
Cultural experts believe that the establishment of such libraries is of vital importance for reviving the culture of reading, especially at a time when many people have moved away from reading books.

Officials of Aksos Publishing House also stated that they plan to open similar cultural centers in other cities of the country in the future, in order to further expand access to books and take practical steps toward the spread of knowledge.
Overall, the opening of this modern library is considered a positive cultural development for Kabul city, which can serve as an inspiring center for book lovers and further strengthen the culture of reading.
