Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Nargis Nehan accompanied by a high level delegation has traveled to Dubai, to attend a conference attracting investment in Afghanistan’s mines, an official said Saturday.
Qadeer Khan Mutfi, Spokesman Ministry of Mines and Petroleum told Pajhwok Afghan News that the conference sponsored by USAID was the first technical & financial even dedicated exclusively to investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s minerals sector.
The event will be highlighted by the Ministry of Mines & Petroleum’s exclusive announcement of a number of new mineral projects being offered for exploration and development, he said.
He said that full-day session will provide attendees with detailed briefings on each of the new investment opportunities in the country.
