In a regular meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the National Procurement Commission approved 22 projects totaling 3.5 billion AFN.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister’s press office, out of 35 projects submitted for approval, five were returned due to issues in the procurement process.
The approved projects include the construction of retaining walls, canals, inter-district roads in various provinces, a dormitory building for the Higher Education Institution in Maidan Wardak province, and the completion of pending electricity supply and distribution initiatives across multiple provinces.
These projects are funded by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
