A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on gas purchases for the TAPI project was signed today between Afghan Gas, a state-owned company, and Turkmen Gas in Torghundi, Herat province.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, the MoU was signed in the presence of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of Turkmenistan.
Under the MoU, the price of gas, the required volume of gas, and the gas distribution process will be determined.
