Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, met today, Wednesday, with Mehdi Pirsalehi, Deputy Minister of Health of Iran, along with Ali Reza Bekdali, the country’s Ambassador to Kabul.
During the meeting, Iran’s deputy health minister expressed the country’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Afghanistan in the production of medicines and medical devices. He highlighted Iran’s commitment to increasing exports to Afghanistan over the long term.
In response, Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Baradar assured that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and its relevant institutions would provide full support for this collaborative initiative.
