Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Afghanistan’s Minister of Interior Affairs, met with Barham Salih, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the UN High Commissioner said the organization would continue its efforts to address the challenges facing refugees, support Afghan returnees, and deliver humanitarian assistance.
According to Mufti Abdul Matin Qani, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior Affairs, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani expressed appreciation for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees’ continued efforts and cooperation in assisting Afghan refugees and returnees.
