The Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee has approved plans for the construction of two commercial complexes on land owned by the Ministry of Finance in Kabul’s First District.
According to a statement issued by the Deputy Office for Economic Affairs of the Prime Minister, the proposals for the construction of the two commercial complexes were presented during the committee’s meeting. Following a comprehensive review and assessment, both proposals were approved.
The Zahir Shahi Commercial Complex will be constructed in the Mandawi area of Kabul’s First District with an investment of 161 million Afghanis. The eight-story complex will be built in accordance with standard engineering specifications and is expected to create permanent employment opportunities for dozens of people.
Meanwhile, another five-story commercial complex will be constructed in Kabul’s First District in accordance with standard engineering specifications, creating employment opportunities for a number of residents.
