The Head of Afghanistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Investment, speaking at the International Conference on Central and South Asia Connectivity in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, highlighted Afghanistan’s role in promoting regional trade, transit, and economic integration.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment announced that during the conference, Afghanistan’s role as a key connectivity corridor between Central and South Asia was highlighted, and emphasis was placed on the importance of expanding regional cooperation to promote trade and strengthen economic ties.
Sayed Karim Hashemi also underscored the important role of the private sector in strengthening economic cooperation and expanding trade relations and called for greater collaboration to create new investment opportunities and expand economic activities across the region.
Furthermore, the conference was held to explore ways to strengthen regional connectivity, develop transit routes, and expand economic cooperation among regional countries.
