Officials of the Daikundi Directorate of Rural Rehabilitation and Development announced that several development projects worth 12.609 million Afghanis have been completed and handed over for public use in Sang Takht, Bandar, and Pato districts.
Rahmatullah Wafa, Media Officer at the Daikundi Directorate of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, told Bakhtar News Agency that the completed projects include the construction of a 408-meter canal, a 150-meter retaining wall, culverts, and an 8-kilometer road.
He added that the projects were funded by the United Nations World Food Programme.
It is worth noting that the completion of these projects will improve water management, land protection, and transportation facilities for residents of these districts, particularly farmers and livestock owners.
