A 100-kilowatt solar power project has been inaugurated in Paktika province, marking a significant step towards renewable energy development in the region.
According to the Press Office of the Ministry of Energy and Water, the inauguration took place in Yahya Khel district, attended by key figures including Qari Fatah Mohammad Zakir, Head of Water and Energy for Paktika, Mullah Shadi Khan Hussaini, Head of Industry and Commerce, district officials, and local tribal elders.
During the inauguration ceremony, Qari Fatah Mohammad Zakir emphasized the project’s importance for economic advancement and community well-being, pledging full cooperation for its success.
The project was implemented under the supervision of the Paktika Water and Energy Department, in cooperation with the Department of Industry and Commerce, and was carried out by the private company, Sharnwal.
