Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Qatar, met with Yakup Caymazoglu, the newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Doha, to discuss the expansion of bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Türkiye.
The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Doha announced that the meeting focused on strengthening political, economic, and educational relations between the two countries and expanding cooperation in various areas.
The two sides also discussed investment opportunities and ways to better utilize existing capacities to expand bilateral trade. They emphasized the need to further strengthen economic and commercial cooperation between Afghanistan and Türkiye.
They also exchanged views on recent regional developments and other issues of mutual interest.
