A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Directorate of Planning and Policy of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock and the Netherlands Committee for Afghanistan.
According to Bakhtar News Agency, citing a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, the memorandum was signed to strengthen cooperation in agricultural development, improve water resource management, and support the livestock sector in the country.
At the signing ceremony, officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock emphasized the importance of international cooperation in advancing the agricultural sector, describing it as a significant step toward sustainable development and increased domestic production.
Meanwhile, representatives of the Netherlands Committee for Afghanistan pledged to support agricultural and rural development programs under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and to cooperate in improving the economic conditions of Afghan farmers and livestock owners.
Officials of both sides expressed hope that the implementation of the memorandum would pave the way for effective and sustainable projects in the agricultural sector of the country.
