Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with Mohammed Nasser Mohammed Al-Sayer, CEO and investor of Kuwait’s Al-Sayer Trading Company, to discuss trade and investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting covered Afghanistan’s current situation, security, stability, and available opportunities in trade and investment.
The two sides emphasized expanding economic and trade relations, strengthening bilateral cooperation, facilitating travel and movement, and making effective use of investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs described relations between Kuwait and Afghanistan as historic and positive and expressed hope for further expansion of comprehensive ties between the two countries.
Mohammed Nasser Mohammed Al-Sayer also expressed satisfaction with his visit to Afghanistan, saying that he plans to establish trade relations with Afghanistan in the future.
He added that Al-Sayer Company is determined to export dried and fresh fruits from Afghanistan to Kuwait and other markets.
