Mawlavi Noor Mohammad Motawakel, Consul General of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Mashhad, met with Mahmoud Emati, Deputy Head of the Association of Transport Companies of Khorasan Razavi Province, along with his accompanying delegation.
The Consulate of Afghanistan in Mashhad announced that both sides emphasized the need to expand bilateral engagement in the trade and economic sectors and discussed ways to remove existing obstacles and enhance cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, the provision of further facilitation in the transit sector and ways to address border-related challenges were among the main topics of discussion.
Meanwhile, the expansion of economic and transit cooperation between Afghanistan and neighboring countries has been one of the key priorities for both sides in recent months.
