Local officials in Balkh province have announced that Afghanistan has commenced the export of fresh agricultural products and fruits to Uzbekistan and Central Asia through the Hairatan commercial port.
The inaugural shipment includes a variety of products, such as pomegranates, apples, and dried berries.
Officials believe these exports will not only facilitate the distribution of Afghanistan’s goods to Central Asian countries but also pave the way for further access to other Asian and European markets.
